PADI Emergency First Response Course (EFR)
Emergency First Response Primary Care teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Following the Cycle of Care to guide you through this process. You will learn more about Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Serious Bleeding, Shock, Spinal injury and Choking. Emergency First Response Secondary Care covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. Participants focus on secondary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice. Included is a first aid treatment reference for emergencies like Burns, First Aid Kit Assembly, Heat Exhaustion, Heat Stroke and many more.
